Charge Up WA EV Charger Grants Guide

What is Charge Up WA?
The Western Australian Government’s Charge Up program has co-funded up to half the cost of purchasing and installing EV chargers for eligible entities such as small-to-medium businesses, not-for-profits and local governments. Grant rounds open and close over time (Round 3 closed 30 June 2025), so always check the official Charge Up EV Charging Grants page for current status before purchasing.
Typical eligibility considerations
- Your organisation type is eligible under the current round
- The charger meets the program’s technical requirements
- Installation is carried out by a licensed electrician
- You apply within the program’s terms and timeframes
